Star Ruby

This variety is especially cultivated in the Western Mediterranean Region of Turkey and has been spreading rapidly in recent years. It is one of the most exported varieties for fresh consumption. It is the variety with the darkest color among grapefruits. The shape of this fruit, which is round and slightly flattened, is quite red on the outside and inside. The star Ruby fruit, the peel of which is reddish and very thin, has almost no core inside. The average Star Ruby grapefruit weighs half a kilogram.
