Llamas are bred in the Mediterranean Region, as the ecology is selective. Llamas, which is the earliest lemon variety after Interdonato in Turkey, is a very high quality lemon variety. It can be stored for a long time in natural caves located in Central Anatolia. The fruit is medium-sized, cylindrical, neck-ringed and distinctly mammalian. It has a superior taste and smell. The peel is of medium thickness, lemon yellow, uniform and shiny. The number of cores is small.
